When news of its existence broke, Khalifa Kush, aka KK, quickly became a Pothold name and for good reason. This craft flower, bred for the legendary cannabis consumer Wiz Khalifa, wasn’t available to the public for years until Wiz partnered with Tryke to bring it to the legal weed world. The mystical aura surrounding the strain carries its own contact high. Our Utah cannabis market is one of only three states where this strain is available through Tryke. Not bad.

Khalifa Kush, aka Wiz Khalifa, is a hybrid from OG Kush lineage. This cartridge from Tryke contains: 90.43% THC, 1.69% CBG, 0.25% THCV, 1.16% CBD, 0.62% CBN, 0.39% CBC.
While ,for me, the cartridge is no comparison to actual KK flower, it’s no disappointment. It could be one of the better strains around for any time of the day use. I found the effects to be mild initially; yet, very buildable. The promised cerebral stimulation came through, for me, in the form of reflecting on the nuances of life, enjoying some music, and feeling satisfied because of the pleasantness of the experience. Oh, and it made me a little bit spacey.
I used the official KK branded battery for most of my consumption with this cart. Shout out to Lisa with Tryke for the KK battery promotion! Experimenting with another battery, this time with varying temp settings, I found a “medium” heat setting worked best. In this case, it was the blue setting on the G-pen Nova battery (3.5V). It flayed out the flavors nicely.
The concentrate in the cartridge was produced using ethanol extraction, as with many cartridges on the Utah market today. The gold hued KK cannabinoids inside the cartridge are clear and clean. Out of necessity, the mouthpiece and connection piece are also gold. This cartridge is recognizable a mile away – yeah, yup.
