Rocky Mountain Hemp is a local manufacturer with its own brand of CBD oil vape cartridges, along with other CBD infused products. The CBD cartridges come in a variety of flavors and sizes. We sampled two flavors for this review; Forbidden Fruit and Strawberry Cough. They were both 250mg each.
Both of these cartridges carry nice fruity flavors, as made obvious by their names. The affects listed inside were also similar, though I was able to notice some subtle differences. The Strawberry Cough seemed to last longer than the Forbidden Fruit; though, for what it’s worth, I found they both lasted twice as long as some 500mg THC cartridges that I tried recently.
Forbidden Fruit is a new flavor to me, and the passionfruit candy flavor was what I noticed most. I think just about anyone who likes fruity flavors will jump right on this one. These flavors are contained in a golden yellow oil contains. I also noticed a small crystallization in a corner of the cartridge – hinting at its cannabinoid purity.
Strawberry Cough has a very real strawberry sweet and sour to its flavor. At first, I wasn’t the biggest fan, but after a couple more tries I found I preferred its taste to that of the delicious Forbidden Fruit. The oil has a lovely amber pink hue in the cartridge.
I experimented with using these in a variety of circumstances and found that these CBD cartridges can be used anytime and about anywhere. The main thing I noticed from these was the flavor and perhaps a small stress release due to the ritual puffing on the cartridge. Admittedly, I wouldn’t say I noticed a huge affect from these by themselves but enjoyed them most when paired with other cannabis.
My favorite use for these CBD cartridges is their ability to enhance the effects of THC. I like to have one of these handy after a THC medical cannabis session. I found that these CBD pens can really bring out new affects; the influx of CBD and terpenes blends with the existing entourage and creates all sorts of lovely experiences. I also found that a few good puffs on the CBD cart can add elevation and life to a dwindling medicated state.
