Pax as a brand has been around for years with admittedly some good products and some less than stellar. This time with their new Pax 3 device they have knocked it out of the park. The deluxe kit coming with everything from a wireless charging dock up to a concentrate adapter for the device. When utilizing flower in the device it seems to take about 30 seconds for it to heat up properly for you to start receiving a vapor from the mouthpiece. With a simple one button touch design it’s easy to swap between the four different modes. Be careful to fill the oven chamber properly as if not it will not heat evenly but once you figure it out it no longer becomes an issue.
The Peak – By Puffco
The Peak by Puffco – 8.5/10 – Priced starting at $319.00
Now this little beauty is amazing, combining the styles of both a table top rig as well as a handheld device all in one 7 inch package, the Peak is definitely any must have among the devices available on Utah shelves. Offering 4 temperature settings with battery life for about 4 sessions. The vapor produced is clear and clean and with the adjustable settings never too hot. The design is sleek, though one would worry about having to replace the glass if it was to break. Overall this is one the best devices tested.
The Davinci IQ2/MIQRO – 7.5/10 – Priced $119.99
Probably the smallest dry herb device tested by our pro’s the Davinci MIQRO is certainly micro In the sense that only a small amount of product is needed to produce a good vapor, also this device has a replaceable battery so you never have to worry about having everything you need to medicate but a charge. The Davinci creates a light vapor and is not intended for fast heavy hits. Definitely providing a very controlled and dosed intake. The only real complaint we had was with how small the device is, cleaning it got slightly tedious.

The firefly 2+ – 8/10 – Priced $249.99

Now The Firefly is definitely the most unique device on this list. Definitely with the fastest heat up of all the devices on this list there’s very little to say about the Firefly that is poor. Heating up in just about 5 seconds using a convection style heater, it’s easy to maintain your vapor production especially when using the easy to use app that you can download on your Android or iPhone. Also with a 33% increase of air flow over the last model you receive the best flavor for tasting all those tasty little terpenes. Also they made the batteries and charging dock reverse compatible so if you have a Firefly 2 you can use those same accessories which makes upgrading to this device all that much easier. The hardest part about this device is dealing with the magnetic front cover plate as you need to make sure that there are no particles between the plate and the device in order to ensure perfect air flow.
