Upon first inspection of a Cherry Louis nug from Tryke, the pointy gorilla finger buds make it easy to see the Cherry Pie genetics.  A sweet kush funk greats the olfactory system upon jar opening, and the first exhale leaves a cherry/ hops aftertaste that quickly solidifies Cherry Louis place in the fruit pie monarchy.

Ready to start a revolution against the monarchy?  Unfortunately, you might be riding the couch for this one, soldier.

In keeping with their other strain offerings, Cherry Louis comes in the signature Tryke jar along with a humidity control pack.

The Cherry Louis experience begins with a light cerebral buzz that leaves you fyah functional.  This slowly grows into a heavy body high that allows your system to relax.  Keeping in line with typical Indica spectrum affects, the experience is spread through the entire body.

What if you don’t want so much time on the sinsemilla sofa?  Dial the dosing down a little bit and Cherry Louis has great potential as a mood enhancer, stress reliever – and did I mention gravity reducer?  Consumers report good results from using this strain to treat depression, lack of energy, bodily pain issues and sleep.

In keeping with their other strain offerings, Cherry Louis comes in the signature Tryke jar along with a humidity control pack.  The buds were springy upon consumption and were quite expansive in the grinder.  A nice moist pinch awaits once the buds are ground with minimal powdery keef leftover.  Too moist for your liking?  Just take the humidity pack out of the jar for a day or two.

The 3.5 gram serving consisted of a few half to three-quarter gram nugs, a solid gramer, and some popcorn.  This seems in keeping with what I would expect from a $45 medical eighth, especially based on previous UT products. The high cannabinoid content, kind flower and powerful affects make this a nice choice – especially for the price-point.

The fact that this flower is as dank as it is, despite being harvested in July and likely held up in state testing until it was packaged in October, is evidence that local growers and processors are applying the tricks necessary to keep the buds we purchase fresh. A word of gratitude is due to Tryke for supplying so much of the Utah flower that patients have had access to in the past few months, thanks!  Patients appreciate having consistent products to rely on and these state growers have thus far been fulfilling that role.
